‘Magic Colour Changing Lemonade’ boxed eco-kit

INTRODUCING our NEW & IMPROVED colour changing drinks kit that now includes a 12-page educational booklet with full instructions for ‘Magic Colour Changing Lemonade’ as well as a bonus recipe for ‘Magic Colour Changing Noodles’ and some other activities including a science experiment. And… our new kit also includes fancy dried lemon garnishes to adorn glasses at the end.

What’s more, our new and improved recipe uses a  humble, everyday (secret!) vegetable to produce the most vibrant colour change you can imagine, showcasing the incredible power of said natural ingredient. Nutritious, delicious, foodie fun at its finest.

This kit shows children (3+) how to fill tea bags with the leaves of a (secret) everyday vegetable. Children will be surprised when water naturally turns a vibrant blue colour and further wowed by a secondary colour change that awaits when they add a little lemon juice (thereby changing the pH). A little honey is added to sweeten the lemonade and the (included) Stroodles pasta straws and dried lemon garnishes provide an exciting and sustainable way to enjoy the drinks.

Each ‘Magic Colour Changing Lemonade’ Eco Activity Kit contains:

• 4 dried green lemon garnishes
• 4 large, ready-to-fill, tea bags
• 4 biodegradable Stroodles pasta straws
• Full instructions to make the lemonade pictured or a simpler (equally delicious) version
• Educational activity booklet, teaching about the (secret) vegetable & the importance of sustainability.
• BONUS instructions for a colour changing noodles activity and extra recipes to use up any remaining ingredients.

All wrapped in a copy of ‘Stroodly News’, an A3 sheet of Kraft paper that has activities and reduces the need for additional packaging.

The only additional ingredients needed are: water, 1/2 red cabbage, 2 lemons, honey/maple syrup (to taste)

CAUTION: Stroodles pasta straws are not suitable for children under 3 years old. Uncooked and used as a straw the product may pose a choking hazard.
